Baseball Cap
I have been fascinated in the origins of Baseball caps and their transition from practical sport attire to couture styling. This project explored my own relationship with the headwear as well as finding a new outlet to express curiosity through a staple of American fashion. Crafted whilst studying abroad in London, inspiration was drawn from some of the cities most vibrant designers, including the likes of Philip Treacy and Stephen Jones.
Situated atop this velvet cocktail hat is the twenty-third dagger that took the life of Julius Caesar. Perfect for formal wear, dinner parties, or overthrowing an empire!
